Sympathy is sent to Sarah Jones Lewis in the death of her husband, Ray Lewis, July 10. May God bless her and his sons, Randy and Larry Lewis. A memorial for him was July 19 at Boulevard Baptist Church in Southaven and some from Arkabutla attended.

Randy and Pam Dye returned Saturday from an Army Buddy Reunion at Eagle Point Resort, Indiana. Others present were David and Jan Martin and children J.D. and Rainee, Matt and Missy Hole and Missy Hale and Missy's father-in-law, Ray Hale from Alaska. The others were from Shelbyville, Ind. The Martin's grandchildren, Grant Izzy and Mila Martin and Rainee's brother and sister, Anthony and Emily Rainee also were from Indiana; Heather Charlton and kids, Melissa Sorensen and Evan Ballman of Minnesota; Tom and Jill Callahan from Bloomington, Ind.; Linda and Joe Saskowski, children, Joey, Amber and Victoria of Buffalo, N.Y.; Jessie and Don Hemmier, Phyllis and Bob Schoals and children, Tora, Pete and Max; their granddaddy of Lockport, N.Y.; Gregg Skelly of Eighty Four, Pa.; Jim Griffin and girlfriend, Sharon and her son, Brian of Michigan; Mary and Don Lines, Mr. and Mrs. Collin Lines and Mr. and Mrs. Duke Lines of Indiana; and Harry Lushy of Ohio. Randy said "He thought this was the best time of all the times they've gotten together."

Scottie Smith went to Jackson Tuesday for the surgery of her father-in-law, Van Martin.

Allen Womack spent part of last week with his grandmother, Olivia Womack, his Aunt Angie and Aunt Memory and Sidney Melton and Ann Clair in Cleveland, Miss. Aunt Denise came Saturday, and they went to the museum and went bowling. To top off the day they went to a fish place and enjoyed a fish dinner. Allen had a really good time.

Nancy Moore had a procedure done at Baptist DeSoto last week and is at home recuperating. Our love and prayers are with her.

Evansville Baptist Church youth minister, Jacob Coleman and wife, Ashley, are back from their honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tenn. and Sunday afternoon a shower was given for them in the family life center of the church.

We were saddened to learn of the death of Mrs. Wilma Haven July 17. Funeral services were Tuesday, July 21 at Pate-Jones Funeral Chapel. May God bless her daughters, Ruth Glidewell, Marie Carlton, Evelyn Boling and Corine Clark, and other members of the family.

Wendy Fletcher and daughter of West Helena, Ark. visited with me Tuesday afternoon for awhile before going to see her parents, Randy and Pam Dye and her sister and families.

Eddie Glenn Campbell is a patient at Baptist DeSoto Hospital and our best wishes and prayers are with him.

Mrs. Barbara Dunn of Illinois is visiting with Mrs. Billie Rochelle, and was here for the funeral of Mrs. Wilma Haven also.

Lee Branan is going back to work Tuesday night, and we pray he will be able to do it. Continue to pray for him and his wife.

Yodi Hawkins broke his leg and is at Baptist DeSoto Hospital. He underwent surgery on his leg Sunday, so please pray for Yodi and his family.
