James Bizzle James "Earl" Bizzle, 78, of Looxahoma, Miss., went home to be with our Lord Saturday evening, March 2, 2013 after a long illness. Services were held Tuesday, March 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Pate-Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia. Burial followed in Forest Hill South Cemetery in Memphis, Tenn. He was an engineer with ICRR before retiring after 46 years and owned Bizzle Farms in Looxahoma. Mr. Bizzle was a 1952 graduate of Whitehaven High School. He was a faithful member of Looxahoma Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Doris Jean James Bizzle; three daughters, Cynthia Jean Wiggins (Buddy) of Charleston, W. Va., Rhonda Kay Kimberlin (Jim) of Hernando and Laurie Ann Poppenheimer (Glen) of Nesbit; a sister, Betty Jo Walker of Glen, Miss.; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Nathan and Hazel Agartha Bizzle, and brother, Bobby Gene Bizzle, all of Looxahoma. Ray Bussey Ray Bussey, 60, of Senatobia, Miss., passed away March 2, 2013, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. A memorial service was held Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. at the Bussey Home. Mr. Bussey was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the Army. He is survived by his wife, Scotty Bussey of Senatobia; daughter, Ashley Singleton of Horn Lake; son, Robert Ray Bussey, III of Senatobia; parents, Robert Ray and Margaret Bussey of Cleveland, Tenn.; sisters, Pam Brown of Cleveland, Tenn., Lyn Woodby of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Tracy Williams of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and brother, Jimmy Bussey of Cleveland, Tenn. Pate-Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia had charge of the arrangements. Gloria Dean Mack Cathey Gloria Dean Mack Cathey, 59, of Coldwater, Miss., passed away March 4, 2013. Funeral services were held at St. Peters Missionary Baptist Church Saturday, March 9 at 1:00 p.m. Burial followed in St. Peters Cemetery in Senatobia. She is survived by her step mother, Lois Ann Merritt of Memphis, Tenn.; a son, Atrick Mack of Coldwater; sisters, Ruby Hunter of Coldwater, Winninfred Moore of Coldwater, Forrestine Taylor of Olive Branch, Alma Jackson of Horn Lake, Coretta McGlothin of Memphis, Tenn., and Katrina Green of Memphis, Tenn.; brother, Roy Lee Merrit Jr. of Greenville; step brother, Philip McIntyre of Memphis, Tenn.; step sister, Cynthia Jones of Memphis, Tenn.; and four grandchildren. Richard Colman Stephens, Jr. Richard Colman "Steve" Stephens, Jr., passed away February 28, 2013, at St. Francis Signature Nursing Home in Memphis, Tenn. Services were held Saturday, March 2, 2013, at 12:00 noon at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Senatobia where he was a member. Burial followed in the LDS Cemetery. Mr. Stephens was a retired Federal Government employee and a veteran of WWII and Korea having served in the Navy. During his time of service he was awarded the American Theater Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Area Medal; Good Conduct Medal, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Christine Stephens, and brothers, William T. Stephens and Gerald Wayne Stephens. He is survived by his daughters, Donna Stephens and Linda Ching both of Hawaii; brother, Douglas Lynn Stephens of Bluffton, S.C.; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Services were held Saturday, March 9, 2013, at West Gilmore Church of Christ in Senatobia. Burial followed in Senatobia Memorial Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Josephine Eason of Memphis, Tenn.; sisters, Earline Eason and Eloyce Jones both of Detroit, Mich.; her devoted niece, Bennie Newson of Senatobia; and a host of nieces and nephews. Effie Mae Wilbourn Williams Effie Mae Wilbourn Williams, 80, passed away March 5, 2013, at her home. Services were held Saturday, March 9, at 12 noon at Beulah M.B. Church in Como. Burial followed in the church cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Vera Mae Taylor Shackleford of Senatobia; sisters, Lula B. Irving of Senatobia, Alice Wilbourn of Memphis, Tenn., Mattie B. Wilbourn of Walls, and Betty Jean Carter of South Bend, Ind.; step-sister, Callie Wooden of Como; two great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. Droke Wilson Droke Wilson, 89, resident of Hernando, Miss., formerly of Senatobia, Miss., passed away February 28, 2013, at the V.A. Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. Services were held Monday, March 4, 2103, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Senatobia. Burial followed in Senatobia Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Wilson was a veteran of WWII having served in the Army. He was a manufacturer's representative for Wilson-Beam & Company. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emmye Lou Wilson, sisters, Evelyn Lancaster, Norma Jean Garner, and Margaret McElhaney, and brother, Earl Wilson. He is survived by his daughter, Judith Elaine Wilson Hearne of Ocean Spring, Miss.; sons, James Droke Wilson of Germantown, Tenn., Jon Watson Wilson of Ocean Springs, Miss., and Joseph Earl Wilson of Atlanta, Ga.; sister, Lucille Fesmire of Nashville, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
