Strayhorn Elementary's first graders recently celebrated the birthday of Dr. Seuss by participating in the national Read Across America celebration. Some of those who donned hats like the one worn by Seuss' famous cat were Jan Herrel, Mary Young, Dylan Flippo, Jackie Humphrey, and Becca Blain - and librarian Daphene Cobb dressed in full cat regalia.
