Tate County authorities have busted another meth lab in the eastern part of the county, and one of those arrested was out on bond from another recent bust. According to a news release from the Tate County Sheriff's Department, on March 1, Tate County Metro Narcotics charged three people in connection with a large methamphetamine lab operation. The release states that "agents searched a residence located at 622 Hwy 305 and discovered three active meth labs, 16 inactive labs, methamphetamine precursors, and several grams of finished methamphetamine." Authorities identified those charged in the bust as Matthew Henthorn, 24, of Memphis Tenn., Eva Halley, 30, of Senatobia, and Christopher Cummins, 27, of Coldwater. Cummins was arrested last month in connection with another meth lab bust and was out on $100,000 bond. Each has been charged with Manufacture of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Methamphetamine Precursors. Sheriff Brad Lance said later in the week that bond was set at $100,000 for each suspect. However, Lance said that because Cummins was on bond from the previous arrest, the District Attorney has placed a hold on him and he cannot be released.
