First cousins Mary Kay Kurk of Silverton, Ore. and Tate Gabbert of Sarasota, Fla.visited the Tate County Courthouse and the Tate County Genealogical and Historical Society Library to research their ancestors in Tate County. The two are grandchildren of J.T. Gabbert, Jr. and Nellie Woodruff Gabbert. They spent time with cousins Bob and Annabelle Meacham and Perrin and Eone Caldwell of Senatobia. This was their first time to meet.
