Wyatt Collin Burford



Wyatt Collin Burford, 34, System Design Specialist for Redeemers Group passed away on December 14, 2012. Memorial visitations were held on Monday, December 17, from 5 p.m. until 7 pm at First United Methodist Church - Fellowship Hall in Senatobia, and on Tuesday, December 18, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at First United Methodist Church - Atrium in Jonesboro, Ark.

Wyatt was an avid sports fan especially when it came to cheering on the Ole Miss Rebels. He also was actively involved in theater while attending Jonesboro High School and loved playing his guitar.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ed Burford.

Wyatt is survived by his parents: Faye Williams and David Walter Cox of Jonesboro, Ark.; brothers, Nelson Burford (Jennifer) of Collierville, Tenn. and Reagan Burford (Rachel) of Germantown, Tenn.; sister: Christy Cox White (Kirk) of Oxford, and Stacey Cox Harper of Torrance, Calif.; grandfather, Leon Burford of Wyatte; uncles, Charlie Williams (Ellen) of Senatobia, Bobby Burford (Brenda) of Senatobia, and Bill Burford (Harriet,) of Independence; aunts: Mary Carolyn Tindall of Senatobia, Marcia Kidder (Bobby) of Senatobia, and Sue Brewer (Durward) of Wyatte; nieces and nephews: Riley Burford, Madison Burford, Taylor Burford, Charles Reagan Burford, Morgan Taylor, Jackson Taylor, Lindsey White and Avery White; and cousins: Jay Tindall (Vickie) of Gluckstadt, Miss., Wyn Tindall of Oxford, Mollie Kidder of Madison, Miss., Sidney Kidder (Callie) and Caroline Kidder both of Oxford.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to First United Methodist Church Senatobia Building Fund - 102 West Gilmore Street, Senatobia, MS 38668 or First United Methodist Church Jonesboro Building Fund, 801 South Main, Jonesboro, AR 72401.

Hernando Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.

Teresa Ann Delashmit


Teresa Ann Delashmit, 62, of Hernando, Miss., passed away December 14, 2012, at her residence. A memorial service was held Friday, December 21, at 2:00 p.m. at Pate-Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia.

She is survived by her sons, Arthur Ray Jacobson (Sheena) of Hernando, Brandon Heath Jacobson (Tammy) of Pontotoc, Jeremy Houston Delashmit of Eudora, and Jesse Adam Delashmit of Eudora; stepsons, Corey Brock Delashmit (Bonnie) and Rickey Kevin Delashmit, both of Olive Branch; brothers, Larry Houston of Olive Branch, Bill Houston of Southaven, Doyle Houston of Eudora, and Scotty Houston of Marks; and seven grandchildren.

Lloyd Hunter


Lloyd Hunter, 76, of Senatobia, Miss., passed away December 18, 2012, at his residence. A memorial service was held Wednesday, December 19, at 4:00 p.m. at Strayhorn Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughters, Stacy Hunter McGehee and Robin Hite both of Senatobia; sons, Richard Hunter and Jeffrey Hunter both of Senatobia; sisters, Joyce Wells and Ann Boling of Senatobia; brothers, Arvil Dean Hunter of Arkabutla, James Bobby Hunter of Senatobia, and James A. Hunter of Senatobia; and seven grandchildren.

Mr. Hunter was a member of Cypress Corner Baptist Church.
